Diversity Certification Is Important

Certification as a minority business enterprise (MBE), woman business enterprise (WBE), disabled veteran business enterprise (DVBE), or lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) demonstrates that a diversity certification agency has determined the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by a minority, woman, disabled veteran, or lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.

Certification identifies diverse suppliers and protects the integrity of supplier diversity reporting used by companies to:

  • Meet and maintain business goals objectives related to supplier diversity
  • Meet and maintain contract terms and conditions requiring a diversity spend goal

A complete list of AT&T’s recognized third party certification agencies can be found on the AT&T Global Supplier Diversity website at Click here.
